“Lorraine”

I’d love for you to meet my newest creation… “Lorraine”.

I painted this in the midst of incredible sadness when our sweet fur baby girl, Lorraine, was getting so so sick and we didn’t know what was happening to her.

Then the worst thing possible happened… we had to say goodbye to our sweet puppy because she was just so sick, and in so much pain, that nothing could be done. Never have I experienced such sadness as I have the last few weeks.

I knew that God gave me this talent of painting for a reason and that He would meet me in my sadness while I painted. So I painted how I wanted to feel. I painted to help show myself that I can be happy and still miss her terribly. She was my girl… my snuggle buddy, my sidekick. I will forever miss her but I know that we did the right thing for her and that she’d want me to BE HAPPY!
